Questions
What counts as an evaluation?
One approved measurement of a proposed change against a baseline. It may include environment setup and permitted repairs within a run budget. A completed measurement is charged once, not once for every attempt.
What does my first evaluation include?
Each Remyx GitHub App installation gets one free completed validation. Connect it through Studio, comment @remyx-ai validate on a pull request, and review the proposed plan. If the run fails before a verdict, the trial is not consumed.
How do I see what I will pay?
The pull request shows an estimate before the run and the actual debit after a completed verdict. Studio → Account → Billing shows the current CPU/GPU rates, your credit balance and every transaction. Top-ups start at $10; the default amounts are $20, $50 and $100.
What happens if a run fails or runs out of budget?
A refused or failed run does not consume the free validation or debit the Remyx balance unless measurement finishes with a verdict or valid abstention. Validate reports where it stopped; changing an approved test requires your review.
Do I need Outrider to use Validate?
No. Validate works on an existing pull request, however the change was authored. Outrider is a separate, free product that finds and drafts changes worth testing.
Can I run Outrider without paying?
Yes. Outrider is a free Apache-2.0 GitHub Action. It runs in your GitHub Actions with your own model provider key. Model API calls and GitHub Actions usage may incur provider charges.
What model providers does Remyx work with?
Outrider uses your provider key in GitHub Actions. Validate can start on a limited Remyx-funded model allowance when you have no provider connected. You can also connect a provider and set Validate's model in Studio. Remyx does not bill model calls made using your own key; your provider may bill you.
